The Twelve Days of Bargaining

NOTE: The Rabble-A Players Comedy Troupe, a group of mostly community college professors, performed at COCAL IV. Several persons have asked for a copy of the lyrics to "The Twelve Days of Bargaining." Here are the lyrics:

On the first day of bargaining, my college offered me
A lottery ticket instead of salary
2 freeway maps
3 self-help workshops
4 feet of floss
5 sweatshop pencils
6 pats on the back
7 yawning trustees
8 spoons of Malox
9 minutes of prep time
10 cups of coffee
11 extra students
12 penny raises

GUIDELINES

"The Twelve Days of Bargaining" is a parody of the traditional Christmas song "The Twelve Days of Christmas" and is sung to its structure and music:

On the first day of bargaining, my college offered me a lottery ticket instead of salary.

On the second day of bargaining, my college offered me 2 freeway maps and a lottery ticket instead of salary.

On the third day of bargaining, my college offered me 3 self-help workshops, 2 freeway maps, and a lottery ticket instead of salary...

and so on.
